Baby-Wearing

I SO regret not getting a sling or a wrap when Carson was tiny. I registered for one of those standard baby carriers (that is a piece of crap BTW), b/c I thought we should have something Cory would feel comfortable with wearing too.

Well screw that! I was the one home all day with Carson for 3 months, and I could have gotten SO much more done around the house while holding, I mean wearing my baby - How awesome is that! I can't wait for baby #2!

I am starting a "regrets" label in order to help me remember the things I want to do differently with future children.

It isn't too late! I didn't get a sling until Addison was a little older - hip baby. I got one at Target that holds up to 30 lbs, and I am still willing to put that child in it. The good thing is I will have it when #2 rolls around too.

Yeah I have one that I purchased from Target as well. I have tried using it a couple of times and she seems a little small for it and it doesnt seem comfortable for her. It says for newborns to 30 lbs but I think it will be better when she can hold her head up. So I think it would work great for Carson...esp. when he is sick and needs to be held. You can hold him but get your stuff done too!

I used a mya wrap with Maddie. It holds babies up to 35lbs, and in three different ways. I loved it, and it was very stylish! Go to myawrap.com to find it.

When we were in Mexico on our honeymoon I picked up 3 rebozos, which are the shawls they use to carry thier babies. Kartik was like, are you really buying those now?? hahaha. We got a baby bjorn from my uncle, it doesn't look very comfy though! I'm gonna sew one too - if it works out I'll make one for you!
