We lost our sweet Charlie last night. The hospital called at 3AM and said she was no longer breathing on her own and asked us what we wanted to do. We decided to let her go and finally have some peace. I hate that she was in pain the last 2 weeks of her life. Cory and I just laid there crying and talking about the good memories we had with her. She was the sweetest dog in the world, I was always telling Cory that growing up all I wanted was a dog that would sit in my lap and cuddle all the time...she was perfect. She brought so much joy to our home and we love her so much. She loved chasing squirrels and birds, so we are going to bury her in the back yard next to the woods.

Goodbye baby girl, we love you and you will always be special to us.

I hate that you lost her, but I'm glad she is no longer in pain. I'm praying for you - a pet is a member of the family!

i'm so sorry kimberly, i know how hard that is...we lost our family dog of 16 years last year and it was so incredibly rough watching him go.. he was in pain too had to put him down.. knowing all the pain is gone is what got me through...and all the great memories made to hold onto!

I'm sorry for your loss! Just know that she is in a better place, pain free, looking down on you and your family. Hold your memories close and never forget!!
