Wicked Weekend!

Last weekend I had so much fun, it was kind of a Halloween theme. Alison, Kelly, and I went to see Wicked at the Fox, and it was an amazing show; I love going to the theatre! Then on Sunday, we went to Kartik and Janie's house to cook out and carve pumkins. We had a great time and they only live a couple of miles from our house!

Finished products.

This was just so funny to me, Kartik and Janie's dogs kept sticking their heads through the cat door b/c they wanted to come in!

This is Kartik and Janie, I have worked with Kartik for over 2 years now, he is like a big brother to me.

Of course Cory picked out the largest pumpkin possible! And it took him the longest to carve his, but it turned out great, this is his below, the headless horseman.

Kelly's boyfriend Frank did a skeleton, was my personal favorite!

Halloween!

I LOVE this time of year. I love coming home each evening and looking in the back yard to see the leaves changing colors. And soon the nice weather will follow! A few weeks ago I asked Cory to stop by Kroger to get tomato sauce and diced tomatoes so I could finish my spaghetti for dinner. He came in with 5 grocery bags, 4 of which were Halloween Candy! He is SO cute! He always puts candy in his pockets and carries it around and then brings it to bed too. He loves candy more than anyone I know. So we have bowls all over the house filled with Halloween candy. I hope we get some Trick-or-Treaters this year. We never have before since we lived in apartments, but we will see in a couple of weeks!

My new look....

Yesterday, I went and got my hair colored. About twice a year, I feel the need for a dramatic change. And I got what I asked for! I told my stylist to do brown with red tones and she did a great job. I am really happy with it and got a lot of compliments at work. I know the color will fade to more of a copper in a few weeks, which is ok too.

Parents' Anniversary

The weekend of my parents' 38th anniversary was really a treat; Cory got us great seats to the Braves v. Mets (20 rows up behind home plate) and we spent the rest of the weekend relaxing, playing games and grilling out at our house. At the game, it was fan appreciation week, so they had an awesome fireworks show.

Zach and Becca's Wedding, Sept. 6th

Cory's brother, Zach married my friend Becca in Dahlonega, GA, a very cute little town about 30 minutes north of where we live. We had a great time! I took advantage of the scenery and took a fun pic of me and Cory as well.
