Phillips Family: March 2013

Christmas was so fun with the boys, I remember it was tough getting them to go to sleep on Christmas Eve, but Christmas Day was just perfect! Colin just oooohed and ahhhed over everything and Carson was so adorable announcing that Santa came! This year Carson got a lot of train stuff; he is obsessed with trains, he could have millions of trains but still would be over the moon to get a new one. Colin loved and played with everything, his favorite was the slide and the toolbench - he looked at us and laughed every time he made a noise with the pretend power tools.

Here are a few pictures from when I was trying to get a good shot for our Christmas card; nearly an impossible task at their ages!

The weekend before Christmas was great, we had so much fun making candy and cookies, watching Christmas movies, and relaxing by the fire. This year, we watched Dr. Seuss's cartoon "How the Grinch stole Christmas" which is my absolute favorite, and we watched the Polar Express a lot. Carson was obsessed with that movie because of the train. I will definitely be purchasing it before the next Holiday season. I am hoping to do the Polar Express experience next year, the boys will be at perfect ages for that! I already can't wait!
